This video explores the evolution of PC sound, and it demonstrates the steps that things have taken to get to where we are now. The recordings are all taken from the theme to the Secret of Monkey Island, all from different sound cards.
There’s something beautiful about this video. Even if it’s something seemingly inconsequential as a computer sound card, it shows the power of the human mind & what can be done over time.
Did you have to show us a picture of the Creative X-Fi? It’s such a failure of a card.
I had them all over the years .. the Roland Cards were about the cost of a computer monitor and all today .. many things have changed so quickly .. but things have slowed it seems in the last 5 yrs.. how about doing one on video cards, modems and hard drives
