Description:
Demo of the first Apple Macintosh by Steve Jobs, January 24, 1984, in front of 3000 people.
The technology was much different then, but it was the same Steve Jobs.
Andy Hertzfeld captured the moment quite well in his retelling: “Pandemonium reigns as the demo completes. Steve has the biggest smile I’ve ever seen on his face, obviously holding back tears as he is overwhelmed by the moment. The ovation continues for at least five minutes before he quiets the crowd down.”
amazing Steve Jobs !
lmao
unfortunately almost nothing changed since then, except for TEH INTERWEBS
F***** was always cocky as s***. No indeed nothing has changed.
Did he pay for the right to play Chariots of Fire by the way? That’s what I want to know.
Thank you for the clip - even with the comments here, brought back some very good memories
