I actually find this kind of sad. The tank is overpopulated and it’s basically a concrete fishbowl — it doesn’t resemble their natural habitat at all. Some of these animals aren’t even native to the same areas. Its absolutely beautiful, but I also find it cruel. They belong outside.

The song is called “Please Don’t Go” by Barcelona.

Unbelievably cool. How lucky are we to be living on such an incredible planet where we can see things like this? Knowing some place like this exists makes me happy to be alive.

the fish are beautiful and i never thought you could ever keep a whale shark in a tank. but i have to agree with rachel in that it is very sad to see them, especially the large fish in this “small” very sterile box. no plants or interesting things in there, no rocks or even sand from what i can see. shame. there are some really beautiful amazing aquariums around and being the biggest isn’t always the best.

This is no longer the largest int the world. Atlanta, GA now holds that claim. Very lovely though, nonetheless!
