SeaWorld in San Diego suspended its killer whale show after a trainer was killed at its Florida park in front of a horrified audience. It was not the first attack on whale trainers at SeaWorld parks. The orca was supposed to leap out of the water so Peters could dive off her nose. Instead, as several hundred spectators watched, Kasatka grabbed Peters’ foot in her mouth and dragged him toward the bottom of the 36-foot-deep tank.

F*ck those other trainers, I would have jumped in that shit and helped him. At one point in that video he was near them if they both jumped in he could have been saved….. where’s the teamwork now.
No offense but theres no way you could have helped, nor the others. You would have just gotten trapped with him. That whale was smart enough to grab the guy and pull him out into the middle of the tank; theres no way you could have stopped it.
So you’re saying you would have had the ability to fend off an 18,000lbs whale …in the water. Listen I’ll call it more towards you with the over/under on the whale on the surface but trying to put out a blazing wildfire with a half gallon bucket accomplishes as much as you would. Especially when you’re standing in the dried grass

I dont understand why they dont shoot the whale with a tranquilizer?
I was waiting for the tranquilizer dart to hit the whale. what numb-skull doesn’t prepare when dealing with a ‘killer’ whale. It is called that for a reason.
A rodeo clown could have quickly diffused the situation.
That’s not Tilikum.
