that is so cruel, why would anyone feed living animals to their pet

    • Comment  by J-man

Because everything has to eat at some point. It’s not cruel. It’s crucial for survival.

      • Comment  by captain birdseye

Yeah, which is why i would gut, fillet and eat this bass if i had the chance.

      • Comment  by The skipper

    thats abit creepy….

  9. Comment  by Dennis

Yeah…this is bad but bass are predators. I doubt they would encounter a rat in real life and this is cruel but hopefully that fish will wind up on someone’s dinner plate. Circle of life.

  10. Comment  by daniel

    not cool.

  11. Comment  by Eric

People who post this is cruel have 0 clue. Living in Kansas where a large mouth can get this big, you see this all the time. Heck they even make jigs and other lures that look like mice and rats because they work. I have actually fished ponds where the fish are so hungry that they will jump out of the water and grab what ever they can that’s around the shore. Fish are cannibalistic in nature. Don’t believe me, put a kissing fish and a gold fish together and see what happens. This is sad, this is survival of the fittest.

    • Comment  by Boniface

Firstly, It’s not cannibalism when one species of fish eats a different species of fish. It’s just ‘eating.’

Secondly, It’s not cruel or unusual that animals eat animals. What is the reprehensible part is that someone was so morbidly fascinated by the thing to share it with everyone.

  12. Comment  by Chris

yeah like animals don’t eat other live animals in the wild. It’s called the food chain get over it!!

“People who post this is cruel have 0 clue. Living in Kansas where a large mouth can get this big, you see this all the time.”

I love this guy especially.. pretty sure you’ve never caught a bass if you think this is one

  14. Comment  by Eric

Just to reply back to you Matt. This is not the video that was posted when I submitted what I did. The video that was posted was a large mouth going to town on a pretty good size rat. In the video it shows now I see 3 piranhas and a eel. Kinda sucks that they removed the other video. Sounds like you might of gotten a kick outta it.

    • Comment  by Matt6680

Thats not 3 piranhas and an eel either…its Oscars and an Arowana. Learn to internet.

i understand that its a part of life in a sense but viewing it as entertainment is pretty sick.

  17. Comment  by bri guy

that is not a large mouth bass its an arowana, has no one ever seen a largemouth bass? This is a fish native to asia not even close to a bass. But still its pretty freakin cool!

  18. Comment  by Eric

    @Travis

    Good times /sigh

  19. Comment  by wayne

Whoever thinks that is a large-mouth bass is a full on retard … just because its mouth is “large” and it a fish dosent mean its a stinkin LM-bass idiot.

  20. Comment  by Kry

The dude should have his balls cut off and fed to the fish! He obviously doesn’t need, or use them!

  21. Comment  by Me..

That isn’t a bass, it’s a silver arowana, and the other two are oscar cichlids. I use to have some as pets. They’re lot of fun.

  22. Comment  by BobBy

HAAAAAAAA that is hardly cruel. why dont you idiots look at yourselves and the fighting and killing and raping that happens to humans EVERY F*CKING DAY before calling THIS cruel.

    Nice fish anyways

  25. Comment  by SipSop

I haven’t even read one of these comments but I can only imagine….I’ll eat three cheeseburgers tonight for all of you lol.

  26. Comment  by SipSop

Oh now I read some….by the way if you had ever seen a large mouth bass you could tell that these fish are indeed from the bass family. Not the long one of course but the rest are.

  27. Comment  by Bassmaster

What are you calling an Arowana? That is clearly a bass that Eric from Kansas catches all the time. I have visited Kansas on a fishing excursion with my uncle Eric and have seen this exact fish species of fish when he caught it and wrangled it in the boat! It is definitely not a 2′ Arowana with two full grown Oscars as tank mates in a much larger than 55 gallon aquarium.

  30. Comment  by redd

pretty f-ed. up. You like to watch animals drown you sick f***?

  31. Comment  by Alex

That looks like a cichlid to me

  32. Comment  by a-morg

that’s an arowana not a bass

  33. Comment  by Nik

Say it with me. Arowana!! And these guys would much rather eat live animals as they would in the wild. Versus flakes or pellets. The feeder animals live a threat free life in the tanks they are raised until they are fed to something. Instead of living in fear their entire lives in a river. You guys should go save all the feeder fish being eaten all around the world. Leave no stone unturned. And just because people are fragile and picky enough to be vegetarian doesn’t mean animals like that option. Go sit in a corner you F****.

  34. Comment  by What the hell

    It is absolutely disgusting!!

  35. Comment  by Jerry

Thats not a largemouth bass and those aren’t red devils. It’s an Arowana and a couple of Oscars.
It’s amazing how few people in here actually know what they are. That shows you how out of touch people are these days. To those of you that do, you are the only smart ones of the bunch. Pretty elite crowd.
I had a couple Oscars in my time. Fun fish. Mine would have 6 goldfish in his mouth within 10 seconds of dropping them in the tank.
Oh, and thats not a rat retards, it’s a mouse.

  36. Comment  by Einstein

No chance for the rat to escape up glass walls. That is why it is cruel. Also the rat didn’t fall in there by mistake. This is why the “feeder” is at least ignorant to the ethical implications of his actions.

    I LIKED IT!
