This is Michela who for several months just can’t get to sleep without waking up every 2 hours. Daddy had enough and decides to help her sleep, but the move backfires on him.
This may be cute, but it’s video evidence of the START of a lifetime of problems due to indulgent parenting. The best thing to do is to let her cry herself to sleep. People who view this as “cruel” no nothing about proper parenting.
Children cry to express distress. When we react to that with immediate reassurance, we are robbing the child of the opportunity to develop the ability to comfort herself. We are also sending the signal that being without constant contact with the parent is REASON for distress, when it isn’t.
As a psychologist, I can tell you that this parenting will lead to trouble down the line. Just watch SuperNanny on ABC to see the results of a few years of it. Trouble compounds, and paying the interest is a nightmare.
Haha hillarious! I actually was laughing out loud. I agree with Sheldon’s comment but understand that a lot of first time parents feel the need to go to their crying child. This dad wasn’t thinking this one through properly!!!
she should look at a future with wrestling she keeps him in half guard like a champ
She’s got daddy wrapped around her little finger!
how sweet, they both would have slept much better if he had just put her into the family bed rather than trying to get in the crib with her! lol
Leave an article of clothing with your scent, works great..
Sounds like a donkey
aaaaaaw lovely
awesome. Really very cute
Should’ve bought the bigger crib.
